MY FIRST SOLAR PHOTOGRAPHY

Step 1: Attach your solar filter to the top of your telescope tube ..and not in the eyepiece because it will burn your camera/eye.

Step 2: To align the telescope towards the sun don't see from your eyepiece directly towards the sun, do align by seeing the shadow of scope when it's in the maximum circular form then it means its fully aligned towards sun. Remove your eyepiece and in place of it place a white paper if you are able to see solar disc projection that means it's totally aligned. After which micro alignments can be done but only when Solar Filter is installed.

Step 3: Set your camera settings to ISO 100,200 (don't try to do exposure balancing by looking onto histogram as the results were seen in the computer will be different than what you see in your DSLR preview)

Step 4: Take multiple clicks of the whole solar disc.

Step 5: Process it in Photoshop or lightroom...Enjoy.

Note: Don't ever look directly at the sun with naked eyes or through a viewfinder. Use a white towel and cover up your whole apparatus and head so as to eliminate any reflection light from surfaces.
