MOON ASTROPHOTOGRAPHY STACKING EXPERIENCE With 2" T Adapter

Gears Used: Meade StarNavigator NG 114 mm with broken go to mount, Canon 1300D, 2" T adapter, Barlow lens.

Step 1 : Download Star Walk 2 for android device from play store.

Step 2 : Attach 2" T adapter lens to your telescope and start shooting the moon.

(precaution if using cropped sensor DSLR like me then align the moon such that full disc is visible)

Step 3 : Start shooting the moon with a DSLR in manual mode then follow THE LUNAR 11 RULE. ie., Aperture f11( set the Aperture to F11 and power off the DSLR at once), ISO to match the shutter speed (iso 200 then shutter speed 1/200 sec, iso 400 then shutter speed 1/400 sec, etc)

Step 4 : Take at least up to 50-70 photos of the full disc.

Step 5 : Use AutoStakkert to stack all the images and convert them to a single stacked image.

Step 6 : Process the brightness and contrast such that the details are highlighted...enjoy
